Bluefin Tuna Fishing – Southwest England Season: August to December From late summer through early winter, the waters off Southwest England host one of the ocean’s most extraordinary visitors: the Giant Atlantic Bluefin Tuna. Vast shoals of these apex predators migrate through our waters, chasing baitfish before continuing south to the Bay of Biscay and beyond. Operating under the UK’s Catch & Release Programme, our tuna trips give you the chance to battle these giants while contributing to vital scientific research and conservation efforts. Southwest Shark Fishing – Blue Waters, Big Action The waters off the southwest coast are a shark angler’s paradise. Just 10–15 miles offshore — and a little further beyond the legendary Eddystone Lighthouse — lie some of the UK’s richest sharking grounds. Here, the Blue Shark rules supreme. Sleek, cobalt-blue, and lightning-fast, blues are not only stunning but often abundant — with multiple hookups per angler common on a good day. Alongside them, we regularly encounter Porbeagles, with the occasional Thresher or Mako adding to the excitement. With expert guidance, specialist tackle, and all bait provided, this trip is designed to get your adrenaline pumping and deliver truly unforgettable encounters with some of the ocean’s most iconic predators. Isle of Wight Shark Fishing – Chasing Giants of the Deep The waters south of the Isle of Wight are legendary for producing two of the UK’s most formidable predators: the Porbeagle Shark and the Thresher Shark. Targeting these giants is one of the most thrilling challenges in British sport fishing. Depending on conditions, we venture up to 20 miles offshore to the Rips, or drift around the races and deep waters off St. Catherine’s Point. Using a carefully crafted chum slick, we draw sharks to the boat before presenting baits at varying depths with floats and balloons. The moment the float dips and line screams off the reel, the adrenaline is unmatched. All shark trips are strictly catch-and-release, with every effort taken to ensure the health and safe return of these incredible fish. In recent seasons, we’ve averaged multiple blue sharks per trip, with porbeagles and threshers appearing regularly in smaller numbers. What’s Included: Specialist big-game gear Fresh bait and custom chum mix Expert guidance on fighting, handling & releasing sharks safely This is fishing at its most exciting — raw, powerful, and unforgettable.
